My next papercraft offering is a card I made during the very recent holiday card making extravaganza of late and wanted a weeny respite from the festivities to just hang out with the birds for a bit...as you do. So this card is "as quick as" to make and totally fed my fowler, non-Christmas, but still crafty predilections. Secretly, I am mad on birds these days so it would seem. I have made more avian crafting purchases within the last few weeks I think than I have in all the years I have been crafting! Weird. So I guess you can look forward to lots more feathery posts to come. I hope you're not allergic.

Very cool, Jen! Welcome to blogland. I love knowing that others see my work but mainly I blog for me. It can be quite cathartic at times and it is a great way to share your creations without emailing everyone in your address book. Just share the blog with them and ask them to sign up to follow or bookmark it. Looking forward to seeing more from you.

Jen, what? Only your third post? You're a pro! The card is gorgeous and I really dig all the textures and layers!
Very pretty card today Jen. I have wondered how the Tim Holtz birdcage diecut would look on a card, and I was not disappointed. Your card has so many nice elements on it, so well thought through. You are really funny, too. I look forward to more.
