Not Too Many Sleeps Left Now...

Just wanted to pop in with a couple of cards I managed to put together towards this holiday season.  Nothing too flash but passable.  LOL

At the moment, I am trying to come up with some clever craft ideas for the kids.  We always love to have a couple of mega craft days before Christmas just to make something decorative for our home.  I sure wouldn't mind hearing any fab ideas you might have suitable for the kids including the wee ones (ages 3 to 12).  I am seriously drawing up blanks at the moment.  Rock on January!

Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it tremendously! x

LOVE these cards, Jen! The colors and the flower embellishment on that first one are beautiful and so FRESH! My kids really love decorating gingerbread houses. We can get Wilton ones already baked and ready to decorate, but the last couple years we have done our own with graham crackers and homemade icing(on the thicker/stiffer side). I just buy a variety of candies that will look cute. The older ones get more elaborate and the younger ones stick with simpler built 'homes', but when we're all done, they make a sweet 'village' on the counter or mantle with some snowy quilt batting underneath. They would KILL me, if we didn't do this every year, and have reminded me several times during the last few days that we have to do this THIS WEEKEND, MOM!!! It's something we can really enjoy as a family...no right or wrong way to do it, so everyone is happy! Merry Christmas!

Happy New Year!
You've got some beautiful Christmas card goodness goin' on here, doll! I was thinking for next year that I need to come up with more craft things for the kids. Was thinking banners....with doilies and cupcake papers....and I don't know what else. Might try it for Valentine's - we'll see.
