Go TEAM MOM!

This is just a lightning quick post to root for all the moms and mom-like women out there who just bless us so.  Below is just one of the few Mommas Day cards I have made thus far.  I anticipate that there will be some clicking of the scissors and clacking of the paper trimmer for some hours yet to come, but in the meanwhile, here's a little number in support of my favorite team:  TEAM MOM!  xx

As this Mother's Day card was created with this week's CR84FN Color Challenge in mind, in it will go into the most fabulous CR84FN color challenge pot.  The colors of the week are Kraft, Pale Yellow and Gold.  Such a lovely soft combo.  I used the amazing Waltzingmouse Stamps' Vintage Banner set and Papertrey Ink's fun Star Prints (for our superstar moms, of course of course) for the sentiment. Do feel free to let me know if you want to know which other bits and bobs were used in the making of this card (and I am pleased to report none of which were harmed) as it would be a pleasure to assist.

Thanks so much for popping by and here's to an amazing weekend for us all!  Big SqUisHy Hugs galore!

Jen, this card is so beautiful - the buttery yellow background with the embossing makes a real statement and the banner is such a fun touch. I like the gingham paper (or stamp?) that you used on the banner too!! Have a great week-end.

OK - first off I just read the other post about the craft show and the woman's comment about duplicating your card. You know, once we have our cards on our blogs and in magazines, people are going to copy them. The good thing is - these are most like people not in to cardmaking as hardcore as we are...they are people who want to try their hand at it and need something to follow. So other than that comment, you'll never know. Take it as a compliment that she wants to use your work as her teacher :)

Love the banner you have used here too....I have done that with the banners too...totally getting my mileage out of those expensive dies ;) Hope you have a great Mother's Day!

I've been out of the loop for a bit but had to tell you what a beautiful card this is! What did you emboss the background paper with? Those little flowers are adorable. Great card.
