Well, I don't think I can be accused of being my usual old "as subtle as a sledgehammer" self with my interpretation of this fortnight's CR84FN Color Challenge showcasing the colors Light Pink, Yellow, and Neutral. I have used all the requisite colors but they are all in their delightfully pale personas in my card. If you've been to my blog before, you will have seen a card of this same composition rather recently. I just love this arrangement and orientation, so much that I thought I'd revisit it in this card. Sure makes things easier for when you don't have the time available for faffing about trying this or that.
Do you have a favorite card orientation or "go to" composition?
Well, that's me done for now. Off to try and make some sense of this way out of control scraps bin of mine, which seems to have morphed into this bigger than Ben-Hur storage box at the minute. Sigh. Thanks for cruising by and have a fab day!

Very soft and pretty. Love the little pearls dotting the tree.
Very pretty Jen! Love the white washed cardboard and the pretty tree! Thanks for joining along with CR84FN :)
Rough and pretty at the same time. How do you do it? Love the sentiment stamped sideways and the pearls on the tree is a nice touch. Fab work Jen!
Love the texture in your card, with the corrugated paper, lace and pearls. Thanks for playing along with CR84FN!
Gorgeous, Jen! Your cards always make my heart skip a beat :) love the textures and that lace peeking from underneath the washed cardboard.
Gorgeous card Jen, I love the WMS tree, such a romantic shape to it! Beautiful!
So very pretty Jen. I love the cardboard top and that Willow tree is stunning. There were a lot of willow trees in Alabama. I just love them! Thanks for playing at CR84FN! :)
Hugs~
Awesome as usual. I so love the whitewashed cardboard. Adds so much texture.
What a great mix of color and texture! Very pretty!
Wow Jen! This is a gorgeous card! I love the distressed in the meadow accents along the top, they add so much to the card!
I love this card! So very pretty and elegant, yet with a rough charm about it, too. Beautiful!
Gorgeous!!
This is so beautiful. I like how you have made that willow tree into a 'happy' card. You layers at the top are just wonderful, especially that sweet lace.
I so was not a fan of that tree stamp when it came out. But I have to say that I like what you did with it with the little pearly accents. And that painted rustic cardboard action that I've seen from you before - I really like that. So shabby!
Jen, this IS a super design and I can see why you used it again! LOVE the top treatment and the pearls on the tree! FAB card! THX for playing with us at CR84FN!
Love it! The lace trim is lovely!
I have GOT to use that willow tree image! It is a crime that I haven't, as evidenced by your wonderful card! LOVE the swoopy layers at the top, and you used these colors just fabulously, Jen!
